Today's the official start of school term. Schooling is fun when you have fun friends around. And it took away some stuff on my mind for a while...

Had Physiology lecture early in the morning, it was kind of like a recap of the cell membrane. The lecture group consisted of people from Nursing, Dentistry and Pharmacy so it's quite a big group.

Will be having Anatomy lecture tmr. Looking forward haha. I love Biology and Nursing is mainly about Bio.

CONTRARY to popular belief, nursing is more than just cleaning sheets and clearing "something which sounds similar". That's a downright stereotype and it just shows total ignorance.

My dad has been very curious why they even came up with a Nursing degree. Reason is, people's demand has increased drastically. 20 years ago, it used to be 1 nurse : 20 SICK people. Now it's almost 1:1 and still the nurses don't even have time to finish their stuff.

People want to KNOW the reason behind everything. What injection are you giving them, why this and why that. "They don't sleep when you ask them to and they don't eat what you give them." =x Quoted from a lecturer.

So IF you ever have to go to the hospital, please be nice to the nurses. :)

People have been telling me that I have a "mass comm" look. Haha. And wondered why the ..... did I take up nursing.

Hmmm.... I will say when I am officially a nurse. :) Guess it's not something I will do for the sake of doing... But it's still too early to say.

Btw, I passed my First Aid theory test haha. Able to move on to practical this friday.

Trick is to just give the theorically correct answers. Though it may seem silly in real life. Haha.

Watched the Olympics after school, a bit of weightlifting, swimming and badminton.

Badminton was Indonesia vs Thailand. Though I like the Indonesians, I supported the Thailand guy!!! Cos he looked more humble and he was at the losing side. Haha.

Thank goodness no one was home cos I went "awwwwww..." "Oh man..........." "Oh NOoo................" whenever the Thai guy made some avoidable errors hahaha. =x
